  2. Fill the registration form using your BBO nick.

  3. You don't need to do anything. Your name is in the data base and you already are a registered member of the Women's Online Bridge Club.

  4. You abviously are already a registered member as you took part in the Festival 2008. Your name is already in the database and you don't have to register again. Verify if your nick is present on the "Registered Nicks" pages.

  5. All nicks are updated twice a month as the BBO database and the Women's Online Bridge club database do not synchronize. The moment of update is shown on the first page of the "Registered Nicks" pages: the digits/symbols page. To be sure to play verify if your nick is present on one of those pages.

  6. Every Wednesday each week starting from November 5th 2008.

    The playing times (Italian local time !) are as follows:

    Individual Tournament 11.00 hours
    Pairs Tournament 16.30 hours
    Pairs Tournament 20.00 hours
    Individual Tournament 3.30 hours

  7. You can start to register the individual tournament as soon as you can find the tournament online on the BBO website, up to 1 minute before the tournament starts. Usually 3 days before the tournament starts it is already online on the BBO website and available for registration.

  8. You can start to register the pairs tournament as soon as you can find the tournament online on the BBO website, up to 1 minute before the tournament starts. Usually 3 days before tournament starts it is already online on the BBO website and available for registration. PAY ATTENTION: to play a pairs tournament both players have to be online at the moment of registration!

  9. There are 10 boards to be played in each tournament. Each board takes 7 to 8 minutes to play, so the tournament will last less than 1 hour and 20 minutes.The scoring of the tournaments is in IMPs or MP. In the tournament description is written which one is valid for that particular match and the TD will always clarify the format.

  13. No, if you have registered for a tournament and you are not online at the moment the tournament starts, you don't have to pay the $ 1,-. BBO only charges the players who are present the moment the tournament starts.

  14. Go online, enter the tourney and click on "Partnership Desk button". You can either add your nick either look if there are some other ladies looking for a partner and see "who's around".

  15. After you login oo BBO website you reach "the lobby".

    There are several choices (it depends from which interface
    you are using), in any case you should go to "tournaments
    page" and you will find a list of all tourneys (not only
    women tourneys).

    You can identify women tourneys because:

    1) the date: only wednesday (and our time start)

    2) the host name: WOMENCLUB
