Every day, starting on April 18th 2011, there will be 2 individual tournaments with a monthly overall classification. The playing times are as follows:

Individual Tournament 11.00 CET, 10 boards, 8 minutes per board, scoring by imp
Individual Tournament 20.10 CET, 10 boards, 8 minutes per board, scoring by imp

This schedule is based on Italian local-time and so times will vary in other time-zones. For a list of the times of the tournaments in different places, click here.

We suggest you put Rome in and search for the time there (make sure you look at Rome in Italy!) and then you will be able to see the time difference between where you are and Italy.

In addition to the rankings of each tournament, cumulated monthly rankings will be prepared as follows:

  • Individual Championship cumulated monthly ranking
  • Pairs Championship cumulated monthly ranking (in any case it will be an individual ranking because it is sustained to participate in pairs tournaments with different partners!)
  • Overall cumulated monthly ranking (combined ranking between Pairs & Individual). Overall classification according to the points that the players will get in all the tournaments that they will play.
10 Boards will be played in each tournament. The scoring of the tournaments is in IMPs or MP. In the tournament description is written which one is valid for that particular match and the TD will always clarify the format. To see the rankings of most recent tournaments, the score sheets of the hands and the "bridge movie" (the bidding/play history for a deal) of each hand click on the BBO Website.

No kibitzers will be allowed during the tournaments.
